20 young people from the Get Sorted Learning Centre have achieved a certificate in ASDAN PSD.
20 youn people, 15 male and 5 female, have recieved their Entry 3 ASDAN PSD (Personal and Social Development) certificates. Working in the Learning Centre - or the Shed, as it is known - young people have been working towards a qualification designed to help the student in "becoming confident individuals who are physically, emotionally and socially healthy, being responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society and embrace change and managing risk together with their own wellbeing.
The Year 11 'Sheddies' will be using the qualificationas a stepping stone to go on to college and the younger students will be progressing to PSD Level 1.
All the Learning Centre Staff would like to congratualte all the students for their hard work and achievement!
