'For me the band does have an incredible post-rock meets Pearl Jam aura. Some roaring guitar riffs give the mental image of Jimmy Page playing through Greenwood’s guitar rack, most rock bands shy away from the ‘frivolities’ of delay and crazy EQs but guitarist Paul Littlewood has nailed it. Glenn Moss, on an array of analog synths, helps to create something dirty and perfectly dissonant. And that is the key to the group’s music, all of the epic and complex sound design of a band like This Will Destroy You, or Vessels, but with the driving nature of a pissed-off Seattle grunge band. It works perfectly, and incredibly they’re not from Seattle.
