Get Sorted's Paul releases e.p.!

Get Sorted's Paul Littlewood released his ‘Butterfly House’ e.p.  on the 15th May! Follow the links, have a listen then spread the word!!!

You can listen to Paul's e.p., released through Three Sixty Record, on Paul's label page and download a  free track. Paul's release has been widely released, can be purchased from itunes, Amazon, Juno, HMV Digital, Spotify and many more digital retailers, and is available from every country under then sun!!!

Three Sixty Records started in 1995 and describe themselves as a 'small boutique label' who 'don't like genres'! Here's how Three Sixty describe the Paul's e.p.:

"Paul Littlewood has a signature arrangement style, a way of doing songs. No fancy tricks, no production wizardry, just subtly changing low-key textures and a voice. Born and raised in South Yorkshire in the North of England he has spent most of his 30 years writing and performing, developing a sound which is uniquely inspired by his changing surroundings. A huge fan of lo-fi, all of his compositions are recorded on a beloved Zoom MRS-1266, 8 track recorder, giving listeners freedom to find in them what they wish."

“This is not music that forces its meanings on the listener, but if you give it some attention, and some time, you may well find these transparently beautiful sounds become an integral part of your landscape.” Oliver Ardetti

Get yourselves over there and spread the word!!!

Get Sorted now a Children's University Centre!

Get Sorted are now a validated Children's University (CU) learning destination, offering high quality learning programme outside school hours! CU Passports available from Get Sorted!

Get Sorted Academy of Music is now validated by the Children’s University as a Learning Destination which is why we are offering all our students and the schools we work with to take part, to get their passports and to start collecting their stamps.

We want to see the children and young people of Rotherham, being part of this as well as learning and enjoying at the same time. We also want to follow our students through to the graduation ceremony as they wear caps and gowns, graduate and achieve their award. Graduation ceremonies will take place at a school or venue in Rotherham.

Rotherham’s Children’s University is part of a national organisation offering all children aged 5 -14 an exciting and innovative programme of high quality learning opportunities outside school hours, with a focus on rewarding participation, raising aspirations and encouraging engagement with learning.

The aim is for children to engage voluntarily with a variety of high quality learning activities, outside school hours. This can range from after-school clubs to museum visits and summer holiday activities.

Children are rewarded for taking part in a range of activities that have been validated by the Rotherham Children’s University. These should take place outside of the school day but can be provided by a range of different providers.By doing these out of school activities, children gain credits, recorded in their Children's University Passport which count towards Bronze, Silver and Gold awards!

Each registered child is entitled to a hard copy of the passport. These are available from Get Sorted as well as through registered schools and some Learning Destinations and cost £2.

If you would like your child/children to be part of this National Organisation, please contact Get Sorted on 01709 513099 or speak to staff on reception on your next visit.
